Abstract:Three manufacturing processes for continuous SiC fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composites (SiCf/SiC),
in other words, chemical vapor infiltration (CVI), precursor infiltration and pyrolysis (PIP) and melt infiltration (MI) were
reviewed in this article. Meanwhile, the performances of ceramic matrix composites and their further application in aeroengine
were discussed as well.
