DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2011.22.010
In order to study the key technology involved in the digital mock-up research and development of complex products, aeroengine is taken as example to analyze the methods of modeling parts, assembly and associated design in the digital prototype. Firstly, 3D models of aeroengine parts are established through the CAD software. Then, for the purpose of studying the lightweight, constrains, interference and other problems occurred in the assembly process, the sub-assemblies and full assembly of the engine prototype are conducted based on those 3D models. Finally, by means of utilizing WAVE technology, the associated parametric design of the blisk is achieved.By replacing the physical prototype with the digital mockup,it promotes the design and manufacturing development of high-quality, high-efficiency and low-cost products.

60 Application of Virtual Aircraft Position Estimation System in Digital Assembly
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2011.22.013
Digital posture adjustment and assembly positioning technology of large parts of the aircraft is widely used, some application systems is used in the assembly worksites. However, during the course of the aircraft assembly positioning, the different choice of the measuring points will cause different aircraft state. Parts machining, assembly, measuring equipment, etc. will also bring error, that makes deviation between the state of the practical position and the theoretical state of the aircraft, and the aircraft can not be positioned right for the next operation. To minimize the error of the aircraft positioning and improve the efficiency, a kind of virtual aircraft position estimation system using on digital assembly is applied, from the analysis of the measuring data during the aircraft poisoning, this virtual aircraft position estimation system can be practically used during the positioning of the aircraft.

DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2011.22.014
The large assembly equipment with multi-DOFs always have complicated structure and driven form. By applying the freedom decomposition of large assembly equipment, a motion component with multi-level structures is proposed for abstract modeling of multi-DOFs assembly equipment. A node cell is realized to build the virtual models and a template is constructed for the modeling of this type of equipment. Based on the multi-DOFs model, integrated motion simulation of equipment and assembly object can be achieved through online specifying their relationship interactively. A common platform is developed for the large multi-DOFs assembly equipment modeling and simulation, and an overhead crane is used to demonstrate the methods.

108 Measurement Method for Evaluating Normal Direction of Surface for Digital Drilling and Riveting
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2011.22.025
A method of noncontact laser distance measurement is applied for digital drilling and riveting of complex surface. By means of measurement results from locating devices, the normal direction of measured area is evaluated. The posture of end-effector fi xed on the end of industrial robot is adjusted to feed along the evaluated normal direction. The datum plane for calibration is derived from plane fi tting method. The position and posture of locating devices are calibrated on the basis of the distances between locating devices and datum plane. The normal direction of measured area is derived from the distances measured by locating devices. A numerical example illustrates the correctness of the proposed method. The method can be used for positioning and attitude-adjusting for digital manufacturing and assembly.
