Abstract: In the field of civil and military industry, there are many annular parts that need to be cut into several blocks, but the existing wire cut electrical discharge machining (WEDM) methods have problems of low efficiency and high internal stress. In this paper, a circular multi-station synchronous WEDM machine tool is invented and manufactured, in which an electrode wire is used to cut the annular parts synchronously in different positions of the machine tool. In this paper, the overall structure design, the development of power supply and control system are introduced, and the preliminary process experiments are carried out, which prove the feasibility of machine tools.
