Research Development of Lightweight Technology for CNC Machine Tools

Abstract:With the rapid development of industrial technology, the requirements for machine tools and production systems are mostly focused on energy saving and green development, which brings new challenges to designers of machine tools. Lightweight technology not only saves a lot of materials, but also optimizes the performance of machine structure, which creates favorable conditions for the development of high-performance CNC machine tools. This paper describes the application of lightweight technology in CNC machine tools, discusses the influence of lightweight design method on green cycle manufacturing and its sustainable development of CNC machine tools. It also emphatically analyzes the effective methods and technical means to achieve the goal of lightweight design of CNC machine tools. Finally, it prospects the development prospect of lightweight technology in CNC machine tool design, and puts forward some suggestions.
