Abstract:Digital measurement technology is the basis to realize high quality and efficiency for aircraft automatic
docking. iGPS, which has the advantages of multi-point measuring, large measuring volume and expansibility, can provide
global and real-time position and attitude information of aircraft components, and has been the effective means for digital
measuring and positioning of the aircraft components automatic docking. In order to solve problems when iGPS was
introduced into the aircraft components docking process, the composition and working principle of iGPS-based aircraft
components docking system was expatiated. Moreover, several key technologies of the system, such as real-time measuring,
unifying coordinate system, pose alignment and trajectory planning, and their solving methods based on the existing
algorithms were described. Finally, all the algorithms were proved to be reliable through the case of ARJ21 wing-fuselage
docking in the assembly scene.
