74 Manufacturing Process and Improvement of Silicon Coating on Niobium-Based Alloy
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2010.01.002
Nb and Nb-based alloys are important high temperature structural materials because of their high melting point, corrosion resistance, and high temperature strength. However, poor high temperature oxidation resistance restricts their application. The present status of research on high temperature oxidation resistant silicon coatings of Nb-based alloys is reviewed in this paper, and the mechanism of silicide coatings manufacture and their corresponding high temperature oxidation resistance properties are expatiated. Existing problems are analyzed and possible solutions are suggested.

78 Performance Analysis of TA12 Titanium Alloy by Modifi ed Weld Joint Electron Beam Welding Method
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2010.01.011
The vacuum electron beam welding method is used for TA12, and the surface of the sample shows well. Through optical microscopy, tensile and fatigue experiments, and other methods, the microstructure and mechanical properties of the joints are studied. The results show that the TA12 alloy joint with good performance can be obtained by electron beam welding, which meets the requirements of a welded structural component, and the microstructure is mainly martensite phase.

81 Effect of Ball-End Milling Structural Parameters on Surface Integrity for Titanium Alloy Milling
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2010.01.003
Aiming at milling TC17 titanium alloy materials with carbide ball-end mill, effects of different ball-end cutter structural parameters on surface roughness, surface morphology, residual stress and micro-organizations are studied. The results show that when the rake γ 0=8°, fl ank α 0 =12° and helix angle β=35°, the best surface integrity for test pieces can be obtained. The surface roughness is about 0.40μm, the residual compressive stress in x direction is 324MPa, the residual compressive stress in y direction is 218MPa. And surface integrity doesn’t obriously change.

95 Vibration Trouble Analysis and Solution of Turbine Jet Engine
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2010.01.015
Aiming at the vibration trouble of turbine jet engine, based on vibration principle, the causes of vibration trouble are analyzed in detail. The measures for excluding vibration and prevent lons measures are presented. The basic method for checking and excluding vibration of engine is introduced, which are important to prevent vibration of engine.

97 Properties of Friction Stir Welding Joint by Ultrasonic Shot Peening
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2010.01.013
The processing of hardening effectiveness by ultrasonic shot peening is used to deal with base metals of 7075 - T651 aluminum alloy and joint of friction stir welding, and is then compared with its original condition in fatigue comparative test. The result of the test of fatigue property shows that ultrasonic shot peening is available for improving the fatigue property of base metals of 7075 - T651 aluminum alloy and specimen of friction stir welding joint.
