Abstract Digital measurement technology has now become one of the key technologies of aircraft fl exible assembly. Uncertainty caused by digital measurement is one of the hotspot. Based on the next-generation geometrical product specifi cation, the overall technical framework of the measurement system is constructed,which covers uncertainty assessment, scheme planning and integration of measuring and data-processing. Some key technologies in the field are discussed.
