Laser Welding Repairing Technology of Aircraft Ti-Alloy Structure |

Abstract On the basis of IPG’s 4kW fibre laser equipment, the effect of jointing interspace, equivalent welding line energy and other technology parameters on the TC4 alloy’s joint strength are researched. It is found that under the optimal parameters, the joint’s strength can reach 99.5% of the matrix’s strength, which can meet the demand of damage’s repairing of aircraft Ti-alloy structrue.
