Abstract The vacuum electron beam welding method is used for TA12, and the surface of the sample shows well. Through optical microscopy, tensile and fatigue experiments, and other methods, the microstructure and mechanical properties of the joints are studied. The results show that the TA12 alloy joint with good performance can be obtained by electron beam welding, which meets the requirements of a welded structural component, and the microstructure is mainly martensite phase.
