A novel voxel recognition methodology using the concepts of feature-based technology and shape distributions is proposed. First, a uniformly distributed random point is obtained from a triangle mesh model. Then, the euclidean distance of any two random points is computed. A shape distribution curve is constructed by
having a statistic of the distance values.
