Abstract It plays an important role in optimizing the process parameters and improving the manufacturing success rate of the parts to carry out the process simulation research and analyze the residual stress and deformation of the parts before selective laser melting. In this paper, aviation goose-neck parts as the research object, the influence of forming attitude, support structure and laser power on the stress and deformation of aerospace part goose-neck was studied by using Inspire. The results show that the forming attitude has an important effect on the deformation and stress distribution of the part, a stronger support structure and a reasonable laser power are beneficial to reduce the deformation and stress of the part.
