Abstract In the process of aircraft assembly, in order to visually tracing the on-site aircraft assembly resources, this paper proposes an aircraft assembly on-site resources tracing and visualization method oriented CPS and 3D model. Aircraft assembly on-site resources data model is founded that includes spatio-temporal data and 3D data. Based on threedimensional modeling of shop-floor and assembly resources, aircraft assembly on-site resources tracing and visualization framework is established. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method and framework is verified in an aircraft fuselage component assembly shop-floor.
