Abstract The preparation of superhydrophobic and slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) is reviewed in
this paper. The significance of the preparation of anti-icing surfaces is introduced firstly. Then the state of the arts of three
kinds of preparation methods, including coating, micro/nanostructure and liquid lubrication layer, are mainly presented. Finally,
the trend of anti-icing surfaces is discussed.
