Abstract Five processes (UD+AFP+Automated rolling/AFP+Hot drape forming/Braiding prepreg/Braiding
preform+LCM/NCF prefrom+LCM) for manufacturing composite fuselage frames are introduced. It describes the technical
detail, advantage and disadvantage and application of each process, development tendency, finally compares these processes
from mechanical efficiency, productivity and overall cost to provide process proposals for manufacturing composite
fuselage frames.
