Abstract:In the present study, the performance advantages of particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites were
briefly analyzed. The component matching design of aluminum matrix composites was expounded, and the microstructures
and properties of aluminum matrix composites fabricated by powder metallurgy process were reviewed. In addition, the detailed
engineering preparation and nondestructive testing technologies for Al matrix composites in China and abroad were
introduced. In the end, this paper described and analyzed the application and development of particle reinforced aluminum
matrix composites in aviation.
