Properties of discharge crater of CFRP are researched through a series of single discharge experiments. It is found that the shapes and numbers of discharge craters are different in different arrangement directions of carbon fiber. When the electrode and carbon fiber is perpendicular, 86% of discharge craters are multiple. At last, the reason why multiple
discharge craters are generated is analyzed.
