Review on Simulation Technology for the Manufacturing Process of Composites

Abstract:Using the simulation technology for the manufacturing process of composites, many defects such as delamination,
void, uneven temperature field distribution and curing deformation can be predicted effectively in the design
stage to optimize the component structure, adjust the process parameters and the tool surface. Some common softwares
used in designing and manufacturing field of composites materials are briefly introduced and some problems in the simulation
about temperature field distribution and curing deformation are reviewed and discussed.
