Abstract：A state-of-art digital design method for aircraft design is presented, which focuses on building up an extensive three-dimensional model that integrates design information, manufacturing information, inspection information and so on into a whole with internal consistency, and serves as the unique data source throughout the entire life cycle of aircraft development. This method turns out to be a practical solution for aviation manufacturing enterprises to improve the production effi ciency and shorten the development period.
