Abstract:Aiming at the requirement of real-time visualization of the assembly digital twin model of product, a visualization model simplification method oriented to the assembly process was proposed. Firstly, the AAG (Attributed adjacency graph) of the model was established by using the B–Rep information, the automatic recognition of features was realized through the graph matching of the basic feature AAG, and the assembly semantics were analyzed to extract the
assembly feature information of current assembly process; Then, the improved QEM algorithm was used to optimize the error of edge collapse, which realized the adaptive adjustment of local simplification rate of the model and met the need of real-time visualization. Finally, the effectiveness of the method was verified by taking the assembly of a certain type of engine casing as an example.
