Abstract As a new type reinforcing fiber of resin-based composites, basalt fi ber has high-performance and low cost, the mechanical properties of unidirectional and fabric composites laminates, winding NOL rings, φ 60mm compound tube are studied,the results can provide design basis to the application of basalt fiber in structure composites.
