Abstract In response to the pulsating assembly line construction requirements of high bypass ratio turbofan commercial aero-engines, the pulsating assembly line is modeled using value stream analysis tools and discrete event simulation technology, and key production indicators and their main influencing factors are simulated and optimized. Quantitative analysis of the correlation characteristics of the main influencing factors and the law of contribution to the overall production capacity is conducted. A typical aero-engine pulsating assembly value stream model is constructed and a simulation technology method is proposed to support the construction of advanced pulsating assembly line and capacity planning demonstration, and provide technical reference and reference for the transformation and upgrading of the existing batch production assembly line.
