Abstract:With higher demanding to reduce the weight of aviation products, many components used in the aviation industry usually adopt thin-wall structures. But, because of its poor stiffness, thin-wall workpiece deforms easily in machining process. So fi nite element model of parameterized thin-wall workpiece in machining process is estabilished and the machining deformation of thin-wall workpiece is calculated by using FEM software ANSYS 10.0. Because ANSYS can’t provide a relatively friendly graphical interface, a secondary development of ANSYS is made based on C#, and a friendly interface is developed. The software developed could call ANSYS to calculate in background after the users enter the parameters, so the efficiency of analysis could increase in a large degree.
