Abstract:New alloy powder blocks with Mo-Ni-B system were designed. Ni-based ternary boride deposited alloys
were fabricated on Q235 steel substrates using argon arc welding process. Effect of Mo content on microstructure, phase, hardness,
wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ternary boride deposited alloy was studied. The results show that the deposited
metals consisted of ternary boride phases, such as Mo2M’B2, MoNi4, Mo5(B、Si)3, γ-(Fe,Ni,Mo,Cr), etc. Besides, Mo
content has a great influence on the microstructure of deposited metals. In this study, the alloy with 44.18% Mo content has the
best corrosion resistance and the wear resistance of alloy with 37.53% Mo content is 27.7 times higher than Q235 steel.
