Abstract:In this article, epoxy resin enhanced with carbon nanotubes(CNTs) was dispersed by ultrasonic disruption
and ultrasonic agitation. TEM was used to analyze the morphology of CNTs before and after two different dispersing presses.
Rheological property, curing behavior, thermal behavior and mechanic behavior was compared using two dispersing
method. The results show ultrasonic agitation can shorten the CNTs and improved their dispersion state in the resin, there is
barely difference of curing behavior and rheological property between ultrasonic disruption and ultrasonic agitation, but the
methods have influence on mechanic behavior and Tg.
