Abstract:Finding the species, size and number of non-metallic inclusions according to four smelting processes:
vacuum induction + electroslag remelting, vacuum induction (ceramic filter), vacuum induction (ceramic filter) + electroslag
remelting, vacuum induction + vacuum consumable. According to the results, vacuum induction (ceramic filter) can
reach considerable non-metallic content with vacuum induction + vacuum consumable, then get the least quantity of type-D
oxide and minimum proportion of large-size type-D oxide.
