Abstract:Bend experiments of two kind of the C-shape frame, processed respectively by using RTM and autoclave
forming have been carried out to investigate the influences of bearing capability and destroy mode. The results show that
the bearing capability of the frame by autoclave forming is 27.5 percent higher than the frame by RTM, and the dispersivity
of the bearing capability by autoclave forming is less than that by RTM. The position of destroy is the same, but the
delamination of the outside on transition section from line section to bend section by using RTM occurs firstly, whereas the
delamination by autoclave forming occurs until the outside destroyed. The conclusion is valuable for the engineering application
of the circumferential frame.
