72 Development of Single一Ridge Waveguide Slotted Array Antenna
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2008.01.003

The stmcture features and main manufacturing points of a single—ridge waveguide slotted array antenna are analyzed.Based on this,a precise manufacturing procedure involving various specialized technologies is brought up.And the critical technical measures for the process are also explained.

76 Development of UltrasoIlic Feature Scan Imaging System for Solid Propellant
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2008.01.013

An ultmsonic testing method for solid propellant of mcket engine is studied. The principle of ultrasonic feature scan imaging and the method of defect testing are presented. The ultrasonic feature scan imaging system for solid propellant is developed and the solid propellant is tested by using low-frequency combined transducers. The experiment shows that the ultrasonic feature scan imaging system can demonsttate the defects of solid propellant successfully by adopting amplitude imaging and depth imaging.

80 Rapid Prototyping of Machine Tool Fixture Element Based on CATIA
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2008.01.004
The method to constitute parametric substantiality modeling based on CAA frame of CATIA is introduced. With taking aviation jig design as a case, the design module of parametric aviation jig is developed based on CAA and part features, and the technical method for rapid phototyping of aviation jig element based on CATIA is investigated.

84 Automated Flat Pattern DevelopInent System for Aircraft Sheet Metal Components
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2008.01.014

Because of the complexity of aircraft SMCs (sheet metal components),there is no suitable pubilc domain software available for its FPD (flat pattem development). The special features of aircraft SMCs are analyzed. An automated FPD system for aircraft SMCs based on CATIA is designed and developed.A set of unique development algorithm comprising of normal cross-section and joggle development techniques is provided. An example is given to illustrate the development of the component.

88 Analysis of Cracking on Socket Head Screw
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2008.01.001
The reason of cracking on the socket head screw is analyzed by means of composition analysis and microstructure tests. The results show that the presence of impurities (3A1203·Si02) leads to tlle decrease of plasticity of socket head screw and the cracking of its head.
