Abstract The method to constitute parametric substantiality modeling based on CAA frame of CATIA is introduced．With taking aviation jig design as a case，the design module of parametric aviation jig is developed based on CAA and part features，and the technical method for rapid phototyping of aviation jig element based on CATIA is investigated．
