Analysis and Modeling of Plunge Milling Force on PH13-8Mo#br#

Plunge milling can reduce the radial cutting force, the deformation of the workpiece, the machine tool power consumption, and cut diffi cult-to-cut materials with great effi ciency. The application of plunge milling is more and more widely. In view of the characteristic of machinability of precipitation hardening stainless steel PH13-8Mo,an experiment platform for cutting force testing is established, and the experiment is designed by the orthogonal methods. The plunge milling force model of PH13-8Mo is built by multiple linear regression on the basis of experiment data. The changing law of cutting force is studied. The research supplies important reference to the research on the plunge milling of precipitation hardening stainless steel.

Design Method of Mechanical Part Fitting Based on Evidential Reasoning

In the design of mechanical part fitting, the factors that infl uence the selection of fi tting can be called evidences. After the introduction of evidences classifi cation and effect, a method of mechanical part fitting based on evidential reasoning is proposed. The vector quantization of main evidences combines the use of fuzzy expression and exact computation. Then, with other evidences, the result can be fi gured out. Examples show that this method can be applied to general mechanical part fitting design.

Digital Design of Protection Circuit of Aircraft Generator Control Unit#br#

According to the fact that components in traditional controllers are very sensitive to environment, a digital aircraft generator control unit(GCU) is designed and implemented with a digital signal processor(DSP)based on the principle of analog voltage regulation and digital control and protection.And the key design points are introduced. Experimental results show more reliability and more stability in fault treatment of the digital controllers comparing with the traditional ones.

FEM Simulation and Experiment on Spinning Process of Titanium Alloy Wheel Rim

The spinning process of wheel rim is simulated by the FEM software of ANSYS/LS-DYNA, and the experimental research is conducted on hot-spinning flange of TC4 titanium alloy, based on which the proper hot spinning scheme of wheel rim of titanium alloy is determined.
