Material information(MI) is very useful for supporting design decision-making. In deep analysisof the product and process design decision-making needs of material information, material information requiremen tframework for supporting design decision is built, and on this basis, the XML-based representation of three layers of MI model is proposed, that is, the underlying layer, logical layer, and application layer. Finally, from the application layer, decision-supported manufacturing quality information feature model is built based on IDEF0.

The joint effi ciency of gap joining of composite material structure is infl uenced because the permissible strain of composite material can not display completely, although composite material has been widely used in the key structure of aircraft. As a result, the interference joining fastening system is used in composite structures in order to improve the state of stress ,the stress concentration factor at the round of hole. The pin load distribution and load-carrying ability of composite material structure are raised by using the interference joining fastening system.

Simulation and Verifi cation of Temperature and Current Density Distribution of BGA Package Solder Joint

The current density in the interconnecting solder joint is increased signifi cantly, which brings new challenges to the reliability of electronic products. Finite element software is used to simulate the distribution of temperature and current density in BGA package solder joints, the numerical simulation results show that there is a great temperature difference between chip side and substrate side of solder joints, the maximum temperature gradient reaches 5.38×103K/cm, the current crowding exists at the entrance/exit of current in solder joints, the current density is 2-3 orders of magnitude higher than the average one. Meanwhile, the results of simulation are also compared with the well-designed experiment, which are in good agreement with the actual experimental ones.

Cell Interaction Model for Product Development Activity

In order to realize the autonomy and diversity of interaction among product development activities, an interaction model of product development activities is constructed based on the cell interaction mechanism, which can support the management and optiminization of product development process. Firstly, the cell interaction mechanism is analyzed. Secondly, the function of cell membrane and input/output channels of the matter, energy and information are illustrated in detail. Thirdly, the cell interaction meta-model is established by using Petri net. Finally, the meta-model is validated in the design process of automobile fuel pumps.

Structure Design Optimization and Deformation Control of Overlong Beam in Automation Test Equipment for Large Composite Component

CUS-6000 large-scale ultrasonic scanning imaging detect device is a high-performance 20-channel automatic detection equipment which is developed by BAMTRI for testing large-scale composite structural parts. The device development process is described and the analysis of typical aspects of the long light beam design is given. By using fi nite element method, extensive calculation of a variety of structural alternatives and working conditions is made. The curve which reflects the relation between deformation parameters and the scanner head moving position is observed by using numerical interpolation method. The calculation result provides theoretical foundation for the anti-deformation beam design, assembly and process control.

Airfoil Flow Field Reconstruction via Proper Orthogonal Decomposition
DOI: 10.16080/j.issn1671-833x.2011.17.021
A method for reconstructing flow fields that using proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) basis functions or modes with great reduction on the computational cost is presented. Using this approach, it is possible to construct entire aerodynamic fl ow fi elds from the knowledge of computed aerodynamic data or measured flow data specified on the aerodynamic surfaces, demonstrating a way to effectively combine experimental and computational data. There are three cases here, varying inflow Mach number to NACA0012 airfoil in subsonic region and RAE2822 airfoil in transonic region. The results demonstrate that the POD procedure could provides effectively high accurate fl ow fi elds reconstruction when just very little amount of data is known. It is a simple, effective method for digit wind tunnel, fl ow control, and airfoil design.
