Abstract A linear friction welding database system based on Client/Server mode is developed by using Oracle database technique and visual programming language (Visual C++.net). It realizes the management and maintenance of information related to LFW, provides flexible query method and friendly interfaces for user. It can be easily manipulated with strong practicability.
