Abstract:For the reason that the traditional geometrical size inspection of workpiece was not suitable for the future production of commercial aero-engine, some key digital inspection technologies of geometrical size of commercial aeroengine based on model, including PMI (product manufacturing information) recognition, inspection routing creation, release of the three-dimensional report and so on, were researched in the paper. The method could save the inspection programming time and reduce the impact caused by work staff’s lack of programming experience, which could improve inspection efficiency and consistency of inspection results. Meanwhile, the method was good for realizing fast collaboration between design and manufacturing of commercial aero-engine by using the uniform model data among design, technology and inspection. Finally, the applicability of the proposed method for the inspection of workpiece geometrical size of commercial aero-engine was validated by a case verification.
